JULY 12 - 25

Skalitude Permaculture Design Course

Two-week Permaculture Design Course with Michael Pilarski and Friends

Permaculture principles and design methodology, once learned, can be applied and adapted to any site. The course covers the traditional Mollison permaculture curriculum as well as lots of local knowledge. The species and techniques will be aimed at the interior Pacific Northwest which includes North-central Washington, Eastern Washington, Eastern Oregon, Idaho, Western Montana and southern Interior British Columbia. Only $850 if registered by April 1.


AUGUST 6-10

Leuwit Skill Share

Sharing primary skills, for the feral at heart. Temporary shelters, tracking, bird languages, wilderness tools, coppicing, tool making and maintenance, homesteading skills, animal husbandry, natural building, and more. This will be a easy going workshop collaborative. $150, workshops = worktrade.

Permaculture Advanced Courses

This course will cover advanced topics for prior PDC graduates. Details coming soon.

Building, Naturally!

Join us for a few days or a week; A camp for Natural Builders, based on the skill share model, exploring application of Living Building Challenge(tm) qualifiers to the work we undertake. We will have several focus projects with an overall goal of meeting the challenge's highest standards. Build barn walls, a clay rocket mass heater, a hot box cooker, a zeer cooler, and more! From wattle and daub, light Straw clay and our old friend, cob, to raku, corbels and sculpture, we'll explore new and innovative ways to build and play with clay. $80 a day, $450 for the whole 9 days, includes 5 full days of workshops (Sept 4&5, 9-11)and meals; 'food and/or work' trades available.
